Quicker natural healing

It is well known by now that PRP contains higher concentrations of growth factors than baseline. PRP can thus stimulate the proliferation and migration of different cell lines. Released growth factors exhibit a paracrine effect on different cell types including endothelial cells, fibroplasts, osteoblasts, chondrocytes, mesenchymal stem cells of differen torigins , tendon cells and myocytes (Biomedical Research and Therapy, 2014 (1):25-31).Because of such a wide spectrum of action on multiple cell lines, platelets derived growth factors contribute to a rapid and natural healing process when applied to the site of lesion.

Scientifically proven and safe

Conventional autologous PRP has been used for a long time in different areas of regenerative medicine. Because of variations in methods of preparation and initial patients’ platelets counts, there has been some controversy regarding the results obtained. AmelioMax bypasses all the limitations of conventional PRP and delivers a balanced pool of all released growth factors in an optimal concentration to exert the desired positive regenerative effect. All steps of XelyoMax production, and post-production testing, ensure the safety of the product and the elimination of any possible microbiological contaminants.

New cutting edge technology

XelyoMax is very easy to handle by simple reconstitution in distilled water for injection or physiological saline. When reconstituted in the recommended volume, one vial is quite enough for small sized lesions. The concentration of growth factors in each vial is standardized and is equivalent to the concentration of growth factors released from platelets found in 20ml of whole blood with a concentration of 1 million platelets/ul. This is the gold standard mentioned in all scientific literature. A lesser concentration may not deliver the desired effect and an increased concentration would lead to an inhibitory effect on the proliferation and differentiation of different cell lines. The ease of storage and the extended shelf life add to the advantages of the product.
