Hossam Fahmy is Professor of Laboratory and Transfusion at Ain Shams University and head of the blood transfusion centre at Cairo Medical Centre Hospital.
After graduating from Ain Shams University in 1984, doctor Fahmy was appointed has a resident and he specialized in laboratory medicine, and obtained his M.Sc degree in 1989, and his MD degree in 1995. Effective changes proven
While LGF has proven to be very effective in the management of degenerative changes of the musculo-skeletal system, skin rejuvenation and healing of chronic wounds and ulcers, Dr Fahmy is working now in taking LGF to new applications in regeneration of new tissues in post-myocardial infarction and liver cirrhosis. Another dimension would be incorporating LGF with other bioactive substances to develop foams and scaffolds for wound management and tissue engineering respectively.
